ICoPE2010 is the fourth in the series of
International Conferences on Precision Engineering (ICoPE)
in Singapore. The first three ICoPE conferences were
held in 1995, 2000 and 2003/04 in Singapore,
respectively.
The International Conference on Precision Engineering (ICPE)
has been organised by the Japan Society for Precision
Engineering (JSPE) since the first conference, held in
Tokyo, Japan in 1974. The term "nanotechnology" was
first defined by Professor Taniguchi at this conference.
The first eleven ICPE conferences were held in Japan;
the twelfth was held jointly with the ASPE conference in
Portland USA in 2008. ICPE has focused on
state-of-the-art production
