SIMTech researchers were among the winning teams who received the A*STAR Borderless Award on 30 March 2007 and the MTI Borderless Award at the MTI Firefly Symposium on 12 April 2007.
The A*STAR Borderless Award and the MTI Borderless Award recognise and reward staff and teams who exemplify borderless values through proactive cross agencies collaboration respectively.
The two winning awards are the:
National RFID Centre (NRC) The National Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) project is spearheaded by SIMTech and comprises members from ETPL, SPRING, IDA and EDB. RFID is an important technology that brings about efficiency and security across borders.
